Natural ingredients with liver support
I was excited to try the UpWellness LTV Liver Hydration powder packets. I have been using a brand that did not have a strong electrolyte and nutrient profile. This product does not contain artificial sweeteners which is also a factor in choosing this product. What caught my attention is the addition of Milk Thistle and other herbals for liver support. As an older adult who exercises and tries to eat well, I know the importance of keeping the liver healthy. I was surprised to see this addition in a hydration drink. The product dissolves pretty well (I add a little warm water to dissolve before adding cold water) and has a nice citrus flavor. I just started taking LTV Liver Hydration powder packets and look forward to positive results. So far I have had no issues taking it and trust it is giving me the support my body needs with no artificial ingredients. I especially like that it was formulated by physicians who are experts in natural medicine.

Stevia aftertaste is overpowering, hard to mix
This product clearly aims to compete with Liquid IV, which I like a lot and have been using for a while, so my review is mostly comparing them. I like how UpWellness is not as sweet as liquid IV. It’s still way too sweet in my opinion (Instructions say to mix one packet into 12-18 oz of water, I mixed it into 30oz, and it was still too sweet, but I split liquid IV packets into 2 and mix each half into 30oz of water, so this product isn’t as sweet). However, the stevia aftertaste is way too strong on this, especially compared to the citrus notes, which are not very pronounced. So you get a lot of sweetness and not a lot of flavor in each sip.Mixing it into cold water is way harder. With Liquid IV, I simply have to swirl the powder and water around for 20 seconds in my tumbler, and it’s pretty much done. In this case, even after shaking it quite a lot, some of the powder still remained stuck at the bottom of the tumbler.Lastly, the price seems to be on the higher side. Liquid IV sells at roughly $1 per serving, while this product (at the time of writing this review) is listed at $50 for 30 servings.I like to keep multiple electrolyte powder packets on hand and rotate between them, so I don’t get bored with any particular flavor, and I will probably keep using this one (I may add actual lemon squeeze to enhance the citrus flavor and negate some of the sweetness), but I don’t see myself buying it again.

Good for heavy sweaters
This is a citrus-flavored hydration mix with a huge amount of Vitamin C, over five times the recommended daily value. The taste is pretty generic, not overly tangy, with no noticable aftertaste.Assuming the nutrition facts are true, the mix of essential electrolytes (sodium, magnesium, and potassium) seems fairly well-balanced.Not all of the powder is dissolved by simple whisking with a spoon. I had a little glob cement itself to the bottom of my tumbler. You might want to use a real shaker bottle, or keep vigorously stirring while sipping.You get a pretty generous quantity of drink packets. If you hit the gym twice a week, maybe three months worth.If you are certain that you enjoy lemon-lime, and your stomach isn’t sensitive to stevia and superdoses of Vitamin C, you will find this to be a great value.

Great electrolyte mix
These flavored electrolyte powder mixes can be a little hit or miss. Some are quite good, some are mediocre, and some can be pretty terrible. I was delighted that this product falls into the “quite good” category. It dissolves relatively easily; I was able to mix it into my water without too much trouble. The flavor and sweetness are both on target. A very nice citrus flavor, without being too sour or bitter. And they are refreshing and hydrating.The ingredients look pretty good to me as well. All around winner in my book!

Easy Way to Hydrate
I can’t really provide any medical data as to if this powder is actually helping my liver, but I feel good after drinking it. It is great for drinking after exercising or a night of cocktails. We are all trying to hydrate better, and this is an easy way to do it. I researched all of the ingredients, and articles that I found support the claims in the listing. Tastes refreshing too.
