Best to deep clean hair 1x a week
I was starting to get a lot of buildup in my scalp so found this on Amazon, and am seriously impressed. Think it’s very effective, and I found the price point reasonable.After a couple of uses, my hair was less oily and more shiny. And it feels lighter.Recommend using this only 1x a week to not strip or dry out your hair too much.It definitely has a strong scent which might not be for everyone but I find the smell dissipates after being washed out.

Effective Shampoo for Scalp Health
I’ve been using AROMATICA Rosemary Scalp Scaling Shampoo, and it really works! My husband used to get bumps on his scalp that looked like sweat rashes, and while this shampoo didn’t completely eliminate them, his condition has improved a lot since we started using it. Now, he uses this shampoo exclusively.It’s gentle, vegan, and free from sulfates, silicones, and parabens, and the natural rosemary essential oil makes it feel fresh and soothing. I love this shampoo!. It creates an abundance of fabulous foam. My hair feels like wrapped in luxury! Shampoo has a beautiful scent of rosemary, though I personally would prefer a much stronger scent of it. Nonetheless, a wonderful product. I bought 2 packs for a lower price. Best to buy it during the holidays when there are deals on these.

I’ve been using this rosemary shampoo for about two weeks, and I really like it. When I wash my hair, the strong scent of real rosemary rises up—it’s natural and refreshing, not artificial at all. It honestly feels like I’m getting a scalp treatment at a spa. The herbal scent makes the whole shower feel relaxing.It lathers well and rinses clean. My scalp is pretty sensitive, but this hasn’t caused any itching. The itch behind my ears actually went away after just a few uses.I have color-treated hair, and this shampoo doesn’t seem to protect the color. But it’s so good for my scalp that I’ll definitely keep using it.

Perfect for PCOS-Related Oil & Itchiness
Definitely love this shampoo. It helps me out with my PCOS related over production of oil on my scalp. It reduces it without over stripping my hair while also reducing the itching I get from my excessive oil production.I really love this shampoo. I have PCOS, which causes my scalp to overproduce oil, and this is the first shampoo I’ve found that actually helps. It controls the excess oil without stripping my hair, keeps the itching away, and leaves my hair with a healthy shine. The best part is that I can now go two full days between washes instead of having to wash every single day. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with oily or sensitive scalps.

Overall, I like this shampoo. It smells nice, but not too overly fragrant, & it works well on my medium textured, silky hair. I’ve had a lot of scalp irritation over the last year & have been trying different “clean” shampoos searching for something that actually works on my hair & soothes my scalp. This works well, but sadly still causes some irritation. It’s definitely better in terms of irritation than a lot of other shampoos on the market, but my scalp still itches after use. It also really bothers me that this product is claiming to be EWG verified (the images include the EWG verified symbol) when I can’t find it anywhere in the EWG database. In fact, when I take the ingredients & build my own report, it comes up with a score of 4 with several ingredients of concern. If the toxicity doesn’t matter to you (or the fact that they’re lying about it), then this is a great product. Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s really going to work for me & I can’t, in good conscience, buy again when they’re making false claims.

Good for itchy scalps
Over the past few years, my scalp has become dry, itchy, and sensitive. I literally have over a dozen products in my shower right now that I’ve tried. There is one shampoo and conditioner I love, but at $35+ each for a small bottle, I’ve been trying to find a cheaper replacement.Enter this lovely shampoo by Aromatica.Pros: Salicylic acid! My scalp loves salicylic acid; it does some mild exfoliation without drying my scalp or hair more, and it helps prevent build up. The ingredients also include menthol, which gives a nice cooling sensation. The lather is good, it cleanses very well without drying or sensitizing. If you like herbal scents, you can’t get more of an herbal fragrance than this.Cons: The scent is quite strong, so if you don’t like herbal fragrances, this will probably not work for you. If you are sensitive to essential oils and extracts, there are a lot in this so proceed with caution.Overall, I would recommend this as long as you’re okay with herbal-medicinal fragrances. It’s not quite as soothing as my number one pick, but the lower price and bigger bottle mean I’ll almost certainly be repurchasing.

This scalp scrub shampoo does the job, but the salt particles are HUGE and difficult to wash out. The shampoo itself isn’t easy to wash out either, even with shaved hair.If you don’t like strong scents avoid this one. It’s potent! Does what it says on the tin, but at what cost.
