Brooks walkers
Love these shoes! Great arch support and comfortable.

Very comfortable
It took me a long time to find this shoe. My feet are wide – D or E. Other shoes squeaked when I walked, or rubbed on my foot where the seam was, or other annoying traits. All of Brooks wide shoes are EE which is a bit too wide for me, but this is not. My foot is supported but not squished. There is nothing inside that rubs on anything else uncomfortably. The heel is great. I have room to put my extra arch supports in. Overall a great shoe. It won out over 15 other shoes.

Love them!
Runs a little small. I wear a 9 but needed a 9.5. They are attractive, comfortable and have great traction. They were recommended by a physical therapist for my twisted pelvis and they are very helpful.

My Podiatrist Approves
I was wearing Vionics with my orthotics, but they were wearing out and my foot was starting to hurt me. I have had a long history of problems with my left foot having had laser treatment, orthotics, and a couple of rounds of oral steroids to help with the pain (not to mention steroid injections a few years ago from another podiatrist). So, getting a good pair of shoes is essential to me. I tried New Balance and they killed my feet (pain, as well as my left foot tended to slap). I tried SAS shoes and while I can wear them, they were never really comfortable. I was skeptical when I got these but with the roll bar, the lace up style, and the large toe box, I thought I’d give them a try. They felt good when I first put them on, but after a few hours my feet were killing me. However, I knew that you had to break them in. After about 3-4 days of limited wear, I was able to wear them all day. Now after about 2 weeks or so, I can feel the cushioning, and they are pretty comfortable, even with my bad feet. I threw my other worn Vionic pair out, gave my other pair to charity, and will be buying another pain of Brooks for everyday. I will also be buying another pair (white) for my nursing job (I teach nursing and so I am on my feet a lot). These shoes are well made, they are approved by my podiatrist, and so I am happy with this purchase.Addendum: This shoe has proved a bit short. My toes hit the end of the shoe which is not to my liking. I will have to remember to order a half size bigger next time, but since this was the same shoe that I bought before, this took me by surprise. So, there shoes are a bit inconsistent as to size. Unfortunately, I did not really realize this fact until after I had worn the shoe for a few hours and could not send it back as it was worn.

Perfect Walking Shoe
These are designed for my aging feet. Nice wide toe area with good support and plenty of room to wiggle my toes without feeling squished. Wide base for stability. Fits snuggly at my narrow heels and do not slip. Thick cushioning for walking on hard surfaces. I also like the lavender color. I have had many Brooks shoes, however they are lighter weight and designed more for running. These are my preferred shoes because they are designed for walking. I am not a runner. Rather, I walk my German Shepherd dogs daily. These were an excellent purchase.

Great fit for difficult feet
I have a difficult right foot. Hammer toes, thin footpads. I am 82 years old and used to be a regular walker until my foot problems. I have tried many brands of shoes, all were ok but not adequate for walking. I have worn Brooks “adrenaline”, which are a good shoe too. My friend had a pair of the Brooks “Addiction”. They are in their “walking shoe” line. I purchased a pair, used my inserts, and boy, what a wonderful shoe. the problem is mostly solved, but this shoe is the best out there. I recommend.

Fabric on Toe Wears OFF
I purchased two pairs of these shoes and I really like the way the shoe fits. I have a bone spur on my big toe and it is difficult to find shoes that are comfortable. These shoes fit perfect and don’t make my toe hurt! The only problem is that the fabric on the toe rubs off after a few times wearing these. It happened on both pairs of shoes! I really wanted to love these shoes, but I wish the toe fabric held up better as they look very shabby now.

Great comfort
Outstanding shoe especially for those that have arthritic knees.

Wearing brooks for many years great shoes

Terrible quality. The sole came undone from the upper side of the shoe near the toes. Impossible to repair so they are useless after 6 months.
