Functional • Comfortable • Cute • Keeps Your Feet Dry
Great fit (true-to-size), decent arch support, is lightweight and yet provides enough cushion to keep my soles happy whilst being on my feet for an 8-hour shift.I was looking for a functional, all-black shoe with a cute design, and I found one here!I also purchased the non-waterproof version of this shoe and love it just as much. I wear these waterproof ones when I know for certain that I will be working with water at work that day.I’ve seen the reviews about this shoe being too stiff, and I do NOT agree that stiffness is an issue. Unlike the non-waterproof version of this shoe model, there is a subtle shield that makes these shoes slightly stiffer — but it is a nominal difference. I switch back and forth between this model and the non-waterproof version, and often get them mixed up when I’m putting them on. I DO notice a huge difference, however, in this shoe’s ability to shield water from my feet as opposed to the non-waterproof version.

I wore these shoes all over Germany! The weather-proofing saved the day. Brooks are always my go-to for comfortable shoes because they fit my wide feet so well. The almond color complimented many outfits and my toes stayed dry!

Weatherproofing makes them a great travel shoe!
I have loved my Brooks for years – I wear them for running, but they are also super comfy for walking. I bought this pair specifically to wear for travel abroad knowing there would be a ton of walking. These shoes are neutral colored, so I was able to wear them with all of my outfits, and then also for a run if I wanted to. The weatherproofing is what sold me though – I hate wet feet, especially when I am out sight seeing all day. I try to pack carry on only, so I don’t have the capacity to bring an extra pair of tennis shoes if they get wet – and these were an amazing solution!

This is a nice shoe. Comfortable, and good arch support. I ordered my normal size, which is 8.5. The width was fine, but too small for my toes. They were too short for my foot type.

Waterproof performed and ultra comfortable!
Runs small had to get a size 11 when I always wear size 10. I first got a 10.5 in this shoe and my toes were just touching the end. Wore these on a vacation with lots of walking and hiking, also in the rain. Only wanted to bring one pair of shoes and I these were it! So comfortable never had to break them in. They absorb shock, and feel very cushioned and supportive while walking on concrete.

These are the best pair of Brooks I’ve ever owned. Bought for a trip to Ireland. Not only did my feet stay dry, they were super comfortable to walk in all day.

Size up.
I wear Brooks every day. I ordered the Gortex because they are waterproof and I work at a pool. They are great. Size up! A size 7 fits me perfectly. In the Gortex they are a little snug.

They work well in rainy, wet weather. Have to order a 1/2 size bigger because the gortex uses up space inside the shoe especially the toe box. Because they are a little bigger they accommodate a warmer bigger sock for winter.
