The Goldilocks Solution: Perfect Light-to-Medium Moisturizer (Strong Scent Warning!)
I’ve been using this lotion for about a month, on and off. I mix it into my routine along with some others. When I tend to reach for it is when I don’t want something heavy, but I don’t want something light. And, I just want my skin to feel nice. Maybe after I’ve done a bunch of serums or a peel. It’s kind of just the Goldilocks of lotions. It’s not greasy so it layers under makeup if you need to. It helps when I’m a little flaky. And on top of all of that, it’s a really good company with good products and ingredients. The one hold back that I think will turn some people off is it has a pretty strong fragrance. If you’ve ever walked into like a Waldorf School or a very “crunchy” store That’s what it smells like.The bottle is a pretty nice size so while it can be a bit pricey it does last for awhile.

I did not realize emu oil was a product they kill the emu for, so beware this is not vegan if thats something you’re concerned about. I do like the other plant based oils, like the primrose oil in this specific cream is good.The formula is thick and has a weird smell to it. Its something I will likely only use when the humidity is very low becayse this is a heavy product and I’m concerned about clogging and too much oil. So far I have not had any irritation and it does feel hydrating now in the dry winter conditions, but I wouldn’t wear this in the summer when I’m sweating and more humid.
