I didnt know there was a gel version of the cicaplast B5. Ive been using the cream to help when i can tell ive been over zealous and my skin needs some TLC. And i love it.But recently my dermo changed my face cream and added benzol. I dont feel like i need to tell you how wrecked my skin has been the last week. Its been red and flaky and i look like a lizard.Literally nothing has helped the last two days, i apply and an hour later its completly absorbed and im lizard again. I want to cry typing this out. I bought this because it says that its for people who have gotten laser treatments and such and i thought it couldnt hurt.I got it this morning and SLATHERED it on at about 9am. At 3 i was starting to tell it was drying up and at about 6pm i washed my face and reapplied. My face was good all day and i am beyond happy.It helps a little with redness, but im sold for the rest of my life on its ability to moisturize my severly damaged skin.

La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Gel B5 is an excellent product for skin recovery and hydration. It absorbs quickly, leaves the skin feeling soft, and really helps with irritation or dryness. The texture is light and non-greasy, making it comfortable to use every day. The only downside is the price, since it is a bit expensive compared to similar products. However, if you are looking for quality and reliable results, it is definitely worth trying

It’s not as effective as the balm, but so much easier for low moisturizer days or lazy days. It’s very effective and priced reasonably, too. Not oily at all.

Great skin barrier
This stuff is really helpful in creating a healthy skin barrier. It’s not really a moisturizer itself per se, but it does protect the skin. It’s non-greasy and easy to apply either before or after moisturizing. I’ve read that it can be used instead of a moisturizer, but I think it’s better to use it as part of a combo. I just wish it was less expensive.
