Great Product!
I have tried many sunscreens over the years, and this SPF formula with hyaluronic acid is the best. It is easy to apply, leaving my skin smooth and hydrated all day. With this product, I find that I don’t need foundation/primer, while I am out in the sun for most of the day. The makeup that I do wear always looks great on top of the tinted sunscreen. This is an excellent product, offering everything I need – sun protection, hydration, unscented, and a product for sensitive skin.

I’ve been reading a lot about sunscreen ingredients and how some of the stuff is just not healthy. This sunscreen is “made exclusively from minerals, organic plant extracts (including oils) and purified water” – The active ingredient is non-nano zinc oxide, a generally accepted beneficial mineral for sun protection and moisturizing the skin. The reason you do not want a nano zinc (this sunscreen has non-nano zinc) is you doesn’t want it to get absorbed in your skin. Zinc works by providing a protective layer on the top of your skin.This Koobarra mineral face sunscreen has only a slight tint (more very light beige than light brown – see photo) and it absorbs well after first leaving a white zinc oxide shadow. There is no scent.There are a couple of things that could be better. For one, there is a code on the bottle where you have to scan it to know what the inactive ingredients are but the link takes you to a page that simply says “your new mineral sunscreen coming soon!” – no ingredients are provided. So, while the product description and label say this is non toxic, ingredients are important for those of us with known allergies.The other issue I have with this sunscreen is it’s a pump bottle where the top doesn’t unscrew. That means it will be hard to get the very last sunscreen (it’s thick) that is left in the bottle – because pumps never get all the ingredients out. I typically only go for pumps where I can unscrew the top and extract the last of the product. If you really don’t care about that, then having a non screwed off top means it won’t open up in your beach bag or suitcase.Hope the photos and this review help you decide if this is the right sunscreen for you. I am so happy with my Koobarra! Appreciate first off that the ingredients are so clean and reef friendly. Loving that it’s tinted so I don’t get that chalky look on my face that so many sunscreen do! Its application is luxuriously smooth….And the pump…might sound trivial….but the pump is high quality!!

A new go to sunscreen
Purchased this for my girlfriend. She has been looking for a clean/quality sunscreen and this one checked all the boxes.This absorbs easily and feels like a natural moisturiser rather than a thick sunscreen. The tint is a perfect shade that doesn’t interfere with other products and it truly does not carry a scented smell.It’s great to find a product we will continue to go back to time and time again.

Very thick cream
This is probably the thickest facial sunscreen I’ve ever used. It had the same density as an overnight repair mask cream. It was extremely hydrating and added some healthy shine to my skin. If you don’t like your skin to look shiny or oily at all, this is not the right product for you. Also, if you have oily skin or acne prone skin, I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s best for those with dry skin.The tint was extremely subtle to the point where all it did was hide the white cast that you typically get from mineral sunscreens (I didn’t get any white cast). It doesn’t matter what your skin tone is because the tint is very translucent, so any skin tone can wear this.Overall, it’s pretty good value for the amount you get, and I felt that my skin was well protected from the sun. I generally prefer a lighter texture in my sunscreen, but I’ll use this on days when my skin feels very dry.

I have to admit I like this stuff. The hyaluronic acid is a great addition. Pĺumps up the skinThe tint is very light, so not good for deeper skin tones.It feels kind of thick going on at first, but blends well and gives a nice sheen to my skin.
