Itch and flake free scalp.
I have long and thick hair and I often get build up on my scalp for my hair products. This build-up causes my scalp to get itchy and very flaky. Using OUAI Detox shampoo a couple times a month keeps my scalp itch and flake free. I do recommend using a good hair conditioner or hair mask after using this shampoo to keep your hair soft and tangle free. I also love the clean scent.

Kinda have a love/hate relationship with this shampoo. I have oily hair and the first time I used it it worked, but now it’s on and off. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it leaves my scalp feeling not very deep cleaned. It is on the better side of clarifying shampoos though, and i’ve had it for a while (& wash my hair 2-3 times a week) and i still have some left. definitely getting a bang for your buck!the dandruff shampoo didn’t really do much for me. i don’t have dandruff but i do sometimes have product on my scalp and this doesn’t help it much.

Hydrating, Good for Double Cleanse (Honey-like Lather)
This is quite refreshing! For a detox shampoo, I was expecting it to be a little more lathery and not as thick and honey-like foam. I did a double cleanse and my hair does feel amazing! I’ll keep trying it out. So far so good! I have super fine wavy hair, so I think this is better for hair that’s a bit less fine since the lather is viscous and hydrating, and would take more product to get a good clean. If you have my hair texture and you use this after a sulfate shampoo on your deep clean day, this would really help detox and add back in hydration! So use this after your first shampoo! (yes double cleansing is super important for fine wavy hair it really helps your roots feel refreshed!!)

Do not use it every day and use it mostly on your scalp!
Great product, it really cleanses your scalp and leaves it really fresh. This product is only for the scalp, if you use it all over your hair it will dry your hair, but if you only use it on your scalp it really makes a deep cleaning. Only to be used once a week or every 2 weeks. Buy it!
