Ive been a user of vital proteins for a long time and these capsules are exactly what I was looking for since I have begun seeing signs of achey joints after workouts and eye lines since im in my mid forties. I also use their powder in my coffee after workouts but im going to incorporate these into my morning routine

Easy to Smoothly Integrate Into Your Routine
Supplements have always been something that I’ll get all excited about, 200% sure that I’m going to be consistent, this one will be different…. but historically, that strong start would kind of start limping and then eventually just collapse and quit. I would lose interest if a supplement wasn’t “doing anything” (like making me feel like I’m 20 years old again) after two weeks.Whenever I start any supplements, I start slowly. I especially don’t want anything to interfere with my sleep. I started these collagen supplements as I start all supplements: half the dose for the first few days (to make sure my body likes it and ensure that there are no sleep side effects); with Collagen Complex, that meant taking one capsule in the morning.I felt nothing- no jitteriness whatsoever, no wired feeling. Took one every morning the rest of the week.The second week I started taking two every morning: still nothing negative.Eventually, I added one to my evening routine- fully prepared to regret it, and instead I slept just as well, if not better. No weird energy spikes, no racing thoughts, no disruption at all. Now I take the full dosage (2 manageably-sized capsules) at night with the rest of my regular supplements. No complaints.Within the description of the product, there is a point that summarizes the advice that finally clicked for me when my doctor gave it to me two years ago: Pair your supplement with an existing habit so it becomes part of your routine. That one concept has enabled me to turn supplements from a “maybe I’ll remember” into something I take every single day. It’s too early to tell you about the results, but if there is a lack of them in two more weeks, it won’t be because I didn’t give it a fair chance.As for seeing the results for a collagen supplement, that will certainly take patience, and right now I’m still doing that “be patient!” part. This formula has the right combination (BioCell Collagen, hyaluronic acid, chondroitin sulfate)to provide skin elasticity and joint support in one step, so I’m extremely optimistic about the potential.

Convenience of taking the capsule vs powder when away from home
I have used Vital Proteins Collagen powder for many years. I had the opportunity to try the capsules and liked that they contained Hyaluronic acid but did not have Vitamin C which helps to have all 3 together. I did see it had Chondroitin Sulfate instead which is good for joints. You take 2 capsules a day and gives you a 30 day supply.I like this as I don’t have to mix it in my coffee and can take the capsules with me if I go away and not have to bring the powder with me. I did take Vitamin C to supplement this. The capsules are lightweight and go down fairly easy.As far as how they work well, that is individualized and I can’t honestly say without taking these long term. However, I can say I have been using this brand for many years and have faith they will work equally as well as the powder or better with the added Chondroitin for my joints (which is why I take it in the first place and skin/nails is second).However, when you compare the capsules with the powder, the volume of collagen and protein is far less so not sure of the effectiveness in the long run. For that I give it 3 stars but the brand I would give 5 stars so will go with overall 4 star review.

Loosing weight, but my skin looks great.
I’m a 49-year-old guy who’s down 20+ lbs in the last 6 weeks on a pretty aggressive cut (low-carb, heavy lifting, daily cardio). One of the things I was dreading was loose or crepey skin, especially around my lower belly and chest. Started taking these Vital Proteins Enhanced Collagen Complex capsules (2 per day with breakfast) about 4 weeks ago and I can honestly say my skin looks and feels tighter and more elastic than it has any right to at this rate of fat loss.What I’ve noticed:• Skin on my stomach and “bat-wing” area is definitely smoother and snaps back better• The usual dry, thin look I get when dropping weight fast isn’t there this time• Joints feel great — zero extra creaking even though I’m in the gym 4 days a week• Nails are growing faster and stronger (weird side bonus)Capsules are unflavored, easy to swallow, no aftertaste or stomach issues. I love that it has the hyaluronic acid and chondroitin already built in — one bottle covers everything instead of buying three separate things.At $39.99 for 60 capsules it’s not the absolute cheapest collagen out there, but the quality and the added ingredients make it worth it for me right now while I’m cutting. I’ll definitely keep using these until I hit my goal weight and probably beyond for maintenance.If you’re losing weight and worried about loose skin, give these a solid 30-60 days. For me, they’re making a visible difference. Highly recommend

Good product but not good value compared to powdered version
Great product which provides the intended benefits of collagen supplementation. A great form factor for those on the go or who don’t want to deal with powdered collagen. I give 3 stars bc the value per amount of collagen you receive from these capsules compared to the value you receive from powered collagen is dramatically different. If you absolutely need collagen supplementation and cannot deal with powders this is wonderful. If you can deal with powders they are more value oriented.

Collagen for joints and skin health
I like this brand, and I also like that this comes in a pill form. I have a big tub of collagen powder that I can never seem to make myself mix up. It’s much easier to have collagen in a pill form although it’s hard to take enough pills to get in a big amount of collagen. That said, the strength is pretty great for just two pills.I like that these have hyaluronic acid. Makes my skin look and feel a bit more plump and moisturized. Zero smell or taste, which is great. Easy to take.
