Good show for the money, but they’re not Altra
I have issues with my feet. Altra turin was previously the only show I could wear, but they’re about $160 locally. Someone recommended Whitins as a more affordable alternative. The Whitins are very comfortable. Toe box is wide and deep (but not quite as wide & deep as Altra). Not as cushioned as altras. Based on reviews I ordered a 10 (size 41) thinking I was sizing up. They are almost too short but wearable. Will go up yet another size on my next pair. These won’t replace my altras but are a serviceable alternative for instances when I’m doing limited walking. Definitely worth a try.

Couldn’t get enough bought a 2nd pair!
I bought these barefoot shoes in off-white and loved them so much that I had to get the grey and brown too! They’re true to size, comfortable all day, and the wide toe box feels amazing—my feet don’t feel cramped at all. Stylish, supportive, and perfect for everyday wear. The color is even better in person. They don;t have much arch support, but they grip well I personally Highly recommend!

I can never go back to normal shoes. My feet feel so much better!
I normally have to try on dozens–if not more–pairs of shoes before finding one that *almost* both fits in the toes AND will not keep slipping off my heel. Nothing ever fits completely right. Imagine my surprise when I put these minimalist shoes on my feet and they fit PERFECTLY. I’m thinking of buying a second pair as house shoes since they’re comfier than my slippers! These technically come in European sizing, but the listing has US sizing. If you wear US 7.5, the “7.5” size in the dropdown will probably also fit you perfectly like they do for me. If you wear Euro sizing and alternate between a 38 and 38.5 normally, I recommend to size-up. (The ones they’re selling as 7.5s are somewhere between a Euro 37.5 and 38 in terms of length)They look a little goofy when I look down at my feet, but they look way more normal from the perspective of others who are viewing you from the side or front. It’s surprising how normal they look from a distance considering how silly they look (to me) from directly above. So if the clown shoe aspect is a concern of yours, I wouldn’t worry too much about it with these shoes. It’s very mild.I tried on some Xero shoes a couple days ago and they were both stiffer and less comfortable than these much cheaper Whitin sneakers. As far as longevity, I cannot say how they compare. But I do recommend these shoes to anyone and everyone who has similar feet as me, i.e., wide toe box, narrow heel, average arch height, average foot volume. But if you have high foot volume, narrow feet, or very wide feet, these probably won’t work for you.I’ve never had shoes that felt GOOD to walk in before, and I’ve been wearing shoes for over 40 years. I’m low-key in love with these sneakers at the moment. It’s a bit too early to tell for sure, but I suspect that they are helping keep my foot issues from flaring up as much (plantar fasciitis/heel pain, mild morton’s neuroma, mild big-toe arthritis, peripheral neuropathy/numbness from shoe pressure). When I stepped out of bed this morning, my heels didn’t hurt at all. It was wonderful. You’re supposed to ease yourself into minimalist footwear, but as someone who normally goes barefoot as often as possible, there was no adjustment period at all for me.Care has been extremely easy–I have a light color upper, so they get dirty every other time I go out. All I’ve been doing is taking Clorox wipe and giving the dirty bit a light scrub and the dirt marks disappear. I’m not sure how healthy the chemicals in the wipes are for the canvas fabric in the long term, but so far it’s worked well for me.The only “down side” is that I am now much more aware of how uncomfortable all of my other pairs of shoes are!If your budget allows, and you have feet like mine, you should totally try these shoes out.

Comfy casual
Pleasantly surprised. I wear a 10W in women’s shoes and its very hard to find casual shoes that fit and aren’t ugly. These fit me perfectly, however would recommend inserts if you have PF or sore feet easily as there’s no arch support. But the toe box is great and offers natual comfortability.

A proper wide shoe
These shoes have excellent width and depth for wide feet. I usually wear a 6.5W but since that wasn’t an option, I ordered the 7W and it fit perfectly. It has the right amount of space in the front so my feet aren’t pressing against the top of the shoe. My toes feel free to move around with zero constriction. The material is also on the softer-less-structured side and relaxes more as you wear it, which adds to giving my feet the freedom to spread out naturally. These have no arch support, which is what I need, as i try to build up the strength in my feet after years of wearing the wrong shoes (i.e. shoes with too much arch support). The outsoles grip the ground nicely and fair pretty well on wet surfaces. The shoes feel durable like I’ll get a good few years out of wearing them.UPDATEI’ve worn mine for two weeks straight now (i do a lot of walking) and i have to say they are holding up very well. the outsole shows hardly a sign of wear. The upper can get dirty quick but I’ve thrown the shoes into the washer and it came out looking squeaky clean and brand new. I sometimes interchange using the insoles or removing it depending on how tired my feet are feeling. The insoles give just the right amount of cushioning when i need it, without making me feel dependent on it when I go without.Overall, these are the best shoes i have ever own and was glad I took a chance on them.

That’s comfortable shoe but definitely size up!
I’m rating this as 3 stars. It’s because the size does run small. So if you wear a women’s 9 go with the 41. It’s a pain in the butt for me to return things through amazon. I rarely order clothes or shoes because I prefer to try them on first. They are a very comfortable fit and I do plan on ordering these again.

My toes and my back LOVE these shoes!
I own these shoes in black and that first pair was so comfortable that I bought another. I have tried various kinds of walking shoes, running shoes and sneakers for hiking and my back didn’t like any of them. These are the first shoes I’ve had in years that I can stand and walk around in all day long without my toes squeezing or my back hurting. The soles are not very thick and at first I didn’t think it would work at all – but I used them for walking all day on garden tours, hiking and in London. In the woods, on concrete and cobblestones, they are still very comfortable for me. The first pair still looks brand new after a year so I’m very happy with them!

I wanted to try zero drop shoes, but most on the market were $300+ which was more than I wanted to spend for a trial. I love these shoes. They are comfortable, hard wearing and have all the attributes of the more expensive zero drop shoes. I just purchased my 3rd pair which will replace my initial purchase after 3 years of very heavy use.

Perfect. I put a different sole in when I wear them just a little cushion.
