Upgrade is legit
I’ve been buying Zima Silk pillowcases for several years now and they’ve always been great. But recently the zipper on one finally gave out so I needed to replace it. It lasted nearly four years, which is pretty good considering I basically just toss them in the wash; don’t judge, I like the way they feel after being washed and dried, as opposed to laying it out, etc. I found these “upgraded” ones and decided to see if the upgrade was real. To me, it definitely is. My old Zima ones, while great, are not as thick, and are slightly smaller. These feel incredible, and even more sturdy, in part because the slightly bigger size means my pillow doesn’t strain the zipper. So much so, that in addition to replacing the one that lost its zipper (it was silver), I also bought two more in ivory, and I’m so glad I did. My plan now is to continue to cycle through all my pillow cases until they’re all upgraded.I got ivory to go with my white sheets (shout out SweetZzz bamboo sheets and weighted blanket; pricey but worth itttttt), so I included pics of them against several shades of white, so hopefully it would be easy to see the color of the pillow cases. The light wasn’t the best in my room when I took them, I think they’re slightly lighter in reality, which is perfect. I also included pics of the zipper, which has been very sturdy and doesn’t stick out at all. The one thing I don’t like is the embroidered “Zimasilk” in the corner. It’s totally weird, but at least not too noticeable and I just keep it on the underside.

Noticeable hair improvement
I noticed a huge change on my hair after using this pillowcase for the last 5 nights. My hair was always tangled and dry using cotton and now is no longer like that when I awake up. I also noticed it is more shiny. I have a medium size length and fine hair. My hairdresser recommended that I should use this type of pillowcase to improve the breakage on my hair. After researching about the satin quality and this brand, also reading the reviews I gave it a try. This is definitely the best solution I found to improve my hair, it was a good investment. I opted for the highest quality, although the company provides other options the price difference was very little between satin threads/weight. If your hair needs some love, and improvement that you can’t find on any hair products, this pillowcase definitely gave me some hope. I’m very pleased with this purchase.

Loving my silk pillowcase!
Loving my high count silk pillowcase. It’s so soft on my face and waking up with tangle free curls. I tend to run warm when I sleep, so it has a cooling effect on my neck and face.Easy to hand wash, I use a good silk detergent, swish it around rinse and hang dry, dries pretty quickly.

This is a lovely pillow case. It’s very soft and looks amazing. As to if it’s helping reduce fine lines, I can’t say. That said my hair isn’t as flyaway and not as crazy when I wake up. So that’s a definite improvement. The price point is extremely good for this level of silk pillowcase as I’ve seen others with same level and been far more expensive.
