Updated – Ingredient Change!!!!
Update 8/1/24 – The top review has information from the company at the “oxide” is what is remaining after making the glycinate. I wish they would give this information in the listing – but after reading the company’s response, changing it back to 5 starts as they seem very transparent.Update 5/17/24 – We have ordered this many times, as several family members regularly take this. They have now added Magnesium Oxide. I didn’t realize it until I saw a reviewer state this, along with pointing out there is no indication of how much oxide vs glycinate is included in the capsule – and is important for those who need glycinate. The original bottles ordered and reviewed below did NOT have this ingredient. Personally, I’d rather they increase the cost of the bottle and keep everything simple and as it originally was when we first purchased. The company has changed the list without noting it. This is disappointing. Changing from 5 star to 2 star.Original Review: We have been making our own capsules with Bulk Supplements magnesium to stay away from all the additional “stuff” added to capsules. We were very excited to find they are now making the capsules with only the necessary ingredients (a “clean” capsule & magnesium). They are easy to take, just recommend plenty of water after taking them. I try to take about 30-60 minutes before bedtime. Highly recommend these!

The serving is for capsules. I only take two and this is a great product. I wake up, feeling good and refreshed from sleeping all night. If I feel a little wound up before bed still this really helps make it to sleep fast.

This is the best place to get your magnesium. It makes 100% difference for me. For muscle cramping and sleep.

1/4 daily dose in each capsule
Note that the full daily dose(400 mg) requires 4 capsules. These 100 mg. capsules were exactly what I wanted. My digestive system does not tolerate the full daily dose. A small dose, like 100mg, however, abolishes the night time muscle spasms that have been so painful. I am giving four stars because the bottle information does not emphasize that one capsule is only 1/4 of the recommended dose. Those who want to take the full dose can do that less expensively with other formulations.

I bought this after reading that Magnesium is good for hair loss. My hair is much stronger and stopped failing right after I started taking it. I have to admit that I am doing a bunch of other things to treat the problem but I felt that the magnesium was the missing ingredient since it stopped falling soon after I started taking it.My husband is taking too after I read about other benefits of magnesium supplements and neither of us have any side effect. So far so good and it’s been a few months.I take other supplements from this brand and I am very happy with the quality and price.

Deceptive Advertising this – actually includes Magnesium Oxide now
I’ve purchased a lot from this brand in the past. I saw a sale on “Magnesium Glycinate” capsules so I stocked up and bought 3 big bottles. I was very disappointed to see that the ingredients now contain one of the least desireable magnesium forms there is – magnesium oxide. They don’t tell you how much of each there is either which is NOT the transparency I expect from a company like this. I work hard to maintain my healthy lifestyle and do a lot of research before I trust certain brands – this one has let me down on this product. I don’t know why they did this, but it was a MAJOR fail for all of us unfortunately.
