Without a doubt, the best sunscreen I’ve ever used. I have tried so many (Supergoop, Laroche Possay, Neutrogena, Hero, etc.) but none compare to this formula. There’s no visible white cast, though I’m fair skinned, so that’s not too hard to accomplish. The formula is comfortable and not greasy. I actually prefer to wear it instead of primer just because it makes me look more matte throughout the day. It doesn’t cause breakouts (Supergoop gave me so many breakouts). It goes on easily and sits under makeup very well. It doesn’t pill. I could go on and on. It’s worth the price.

This is, hands down, the best sunscreen on the market. It’s light weight, non-greasy, and protects my face really well. I prefer it over other sunscreens because it doesn’t sting your eyes or cloud your contacts if water or sweat runs down your face.

Worth Every Penny – Perfect Everyday Sunscreen
I don’t usually write reviews, but this is honestly the BEST sunscreen I’ve ever used. I have fair, sensitive, oily, acne-prone skin, and I’ve struggled to find something that checks all the boxes. This one blends in smoothly with no white cast, has a nice cream texture, and doesn’t make me itch like others I’ve tried. It’s does have faint play-dough-like scent that fades quickly. It doesn’t clog pores, isn’t greasy, and wears well under makeup. For me, it’s the perfect everyday sunscreen and I highly recommend it for anyone with sensitive or acne-prone skin.The price is a bit higher, but for how well it works with my skin, I’ll gladly keep repurchasing. Cost just keeps going up, but very good cosmetic
Used to be my favorite – for years – but they price steadily rises. Each one that I use was $30 on Amazon and they’re all now like $45. It’s ridiculous. Some time soon, they’ll be as pricey as the top brands and will no longer be worth it.

Have used for a month without breakouts, stinging eyes, white cast, or oiliness!
I waited a month to review so I’d have time to decide if it was worth the high price. I can confidently say that it is for my skin type. I am very acne-prone and greasy despite my older age, with occasional dry spots due to other skincare products. I’ve had trouble finding sunscreen that doesn’t break me out, migrate into and sting my eyes, or leave my skin oily. This stuff hasn’t done any of that, and appears to keep me well protected. I did have some trouble with the pump as others have mentioned: I couldn’t get any product out and was about to go berserk. However, I watched a video recommending you hit the bottom of the bottle on the palm of your hand several times, hard, which worked like a charm. It has a benign, light, non-sunscreeny scent, absorbs quickly without leaving a white cast, and sits well under makeup, too. It’s a winner for me!

What a wonderful product! Glides on your face and has great sun blocking ability. I plan on using this all winter too! It absorbs well and feels like you are wearing nothing. Not greasy, does not clog pores.

EltaMD UV Clear SPF 46 is hands down the best sunscreen I’ve tried, and it comes highly recommended by my dermatologist. As a guy in my mid-30s with a beard, finding a sunscreen that doesn’t leave a weird white film or oily residue has always been tough. Most sunscreens either feel heavy, smell odd, or get stuck in my facial hair.This one is a game changer. The texture is light and easy to apply, and it disappears into my skin without any chalky cast, my beard looks completely normal. No greasiness, no stickiness, and no scent, which I appreciate since I have sensitive skin. I also like that it has ingredients like niacinamide that help keep my skin calm and clear.For the price, it’s surprisingly good value. There are cheaper sunscreens out there, but none that work this well for my skin and beard. I finally understand why my dermatologist called it the best bang for your buck. If you want sun protection that you barely notice and that won’t mess with your facial hair, EltaMD UV Clear is absolutely worth it. I’m glad I switched.

I have combination skin, mainly oily on my T-zone. I like how after seruum, moisturiser and then a sunscreen, it doesn’t add a shiny/oily look. The pump makes it not messy but I hope I can get every bit of the bottle.

I’ve tried a multitude of sunscreens and this one from Elta MD is the one that has made my skin look and feel the healthiest. It’s such a good sunscreen overall.I have very sensitive skin and rosacea, and I’m prone to get acne. I had issues with other sunscreens aggravating my rosacea, or causing me to break out. But not the Elta MD sunscreen. No issues whatsoever.It goes on really well and nicely. The way the sunscreen spreads is really nice and allows for good, even application.I like how the Elta MD is SPF 46, which gives more protection than a lot of other sunscreens I bought before that were only SPF 30 or 35.There’s also no scent or smell, which is nice. It does leave a slight whitecast, but I actually think it’s a perk because with my rosacea, it evens out my skin and makes it look better than it actually is. So, for me, the slight whitecast makes my skin look better, as it makes pimples, rosacea redness, and other blemishes less noticeable and creates a more even appearance.It’s pricey and I’ve wanted to buy something else, but nothing compares to this sunscreen. Truly the best sunscreen of everything I’ve tried. All around, it’s a very well made sunscreen that is a joy to use.
