Thoroughly wet hair from roots to ends. Lather a quarter-size amount of shampoo for dry hair in your hands, then work into roots and anywhere hair touches the scalp. Rinse shampoo. Make sure to squeeze out excess moisture before pairing with Thick Conditioner. Use our anti-frizz shampoo and conditioner together for the best results.

This travel size shampoo has been my go to because is a great choice for anyone with thick or coarse hair who wants salon-quality results on the go. The 3 fl oz bottle is perfectly sized for travel yet lasts longer than expected since a small amount lathers well. It has a nice scent and leaves hair feeling soft, hydrated, and smooth without weighing it down. Ingredients like keratin, marshmallow root, shea butter, and avocado oil really help tame frizz and add shine. I also love that it’s paraben- and sulfate-free, making it gentle on color-treated hair. While it’s a bit pricier than average travel shampoos, the quality and performance make it worth it.

Good moisturizing shampoo, scent is so bad imo
I really do not like the scent. To me it is a powdery scent that an older person uses in their soap. The texture is very slippery, creamy, and gel like and lathers well in hair. I think this is a good shampoo if you have thick hair and are looking to keep hydration while getting a good clean. It is definitely not a clarifying shampoo, but hair and scalp does feel clean after use. While hair looked shiny after and moisturized, I do not think it did anything to help with frizz. If you like this item it is nice it is in a small travel bottle. However, for me the benefits of this shampoo are not enough to warrant the price tag- and scent lol.

Very rich shampoo.
I had always wanted to try the Ouai brand of hair products. I’ve heard such wonderful things about them. I have to say that this does seem like a higher quality shampoo. It has a really nice lather while using just about a quarter size amount. Of course, this would depend on the length of your hair and thickness. My hair was left very soft and felt very clean. I have thick curly hair that tends to be on the dry side. I can’t say that it really moisturized my hair, all that much, but it didn’t weigh it down which I really appreciate. The scent is extremely pleasant without being overwhelming. Although it’s a bit pricier than what you would buy at the grocery store, it is much better quality too.

Made my scalp dry
This is a decent quality shampoo, but I did not really like the scent which is kind of a strong floral. The scent doesn’t really stick around after use, so that’s not a big deal.I’ve used this on my hair at least 3 times, and have had good results after washing. I don’t have the conditioner to go with, so I’ve just been using another brand of conditioner. I noted that the lather is nice and foamy and my hair felt very clean after use. My hair felt light weight and healthy after use. However, my scalp seemingly did not enjoy this because it was a bit itchy and felt dry between washes. This might be my own problem, though I don’t generally have issues with this.I don’t think I’ll repurchase at this price point, since $16 for a 3 ounce travel bottle is very high.

It doesn’t have a big drying effect, and it maintains my hair softness and it has a good decent value for the money. The shampoo quality is great as well. Wow. Wow. Wow!I have a lot of very thick, coarse hair and more often than not, my previous shampoos tend to mat the hair in the wash process and then detangle in the conditioner stage.This product – OUAI washes hair making it immediately soft. Paired with the conditioner and BOOM! You have amazing looking, feeling and smelling hair. The fragrance is divine.Another thing to note is that since using this product, my hair seems to not need to be washed as often and I can push back wash days by at least another day – which is helpful as this is a very expensive but amazing product.
