Amazing product!! Try this for joint pain!
I can’t say enough about how much better I feel after starting this product. I’ve been taking regular vital proteins collagen with hyaluronic acid for about two years and when I switched to this formula about a month ago, I noticed a sudden decrease in joint pain both in a hip and a foot that had been bothering me.The collagen mixes into my morning coffee, just like the basic formula, and I noticed no difference in taste or smell.I have had significant pain relief since I started using this product. I have told some of my friends and family about it and I’m super excited about continuing to use it. I’ve already purchased two canisters in addition to the one and I received from the Amazon, VA and I’m just waiting for them to make it in a larger container!I highly recommend giving this formula a try!!

Comparable to the regular collagen, but…
This popped up in my Vine feed, probably because I do regularly use various brands of collagen protein, including Vital Proteins. This is a brand I trust as far as quality, and the quality of this powder is up to snuff. It’s smooth, it smells like collagen, there’s nothing weird about it there.The taste is also pretty much like normal collagen. Maybe a little more taste to it than usual, but not bad, nothing that you’ll really notice mixed into your coffee. Regarding the mixability of this powder, I do feel like it’s a little clumpier than regular collagen. I put it in a little hot espresso and I had to stir it vigorously to get it to dissolve and sort of mush the clumps up against the side of the cup. It did mix, but I had to work harder at it than usual.I can’t really speak to the effectiveness of this product at this point. I noticed that it’s supposed to relieve joint pain in 3 weeks, and there’s basically three weeks’ worth in the container I received. I can’t say I’ve noticed much of a difference, but that may be because I already use collagen and get some benefit from that. A collagen “virgin” may be able to speak to that more.Overall, if I had an increase in joint pain in the future, I would swap this out with my regular collagen powder and try it again. But for now, I’ll probably stick with the normal collagen.

I learned something new about collagen
This is collagen peptides, which (I had to research) are hydrolzed from collagen, making it easier and quicker to be absorbed into the bloodstream. This Vital Proteins active complex product contains a large dose of collagen peptides, plus a couple of registered trademark additions. The peptides are all sourced from bovine. This powder had no smell and virtually no taste, and mixes well. I’ve not experienced any negative side effects. It did not come with a scoop, which is unusual for many similar products, but they do tell you to use 3 rounded tablespoons. The jar contains a two week supply, which means frequent recorders if you want to use it long term. It is also a bit pricey. I’m interested other to see if there is a noticeable difference between collagen and collagen peptides, but would like more sources for the product, not just bovine.

I’ve tried other collagen products by Vital Proteins so I was very excited to try this one, too! I’ve been experiencing some pretty rough joint and back pain the last several weeks, and I have noticed improvement in the few days I’ve been taking it now. I didn’t notice any unpleasant tastes or textures, and it dissolved well into a cold electrolyte drink, which is a huge plus.Unfortunately, I have had stomach issues every day that I’ve had this collagen. Additionally, there’s only enough for 14 servings, which isn’t very much for the price.Overall, it appears to have some benefits, but I’m not sold on value for money and would suggest those with sensitive stomachs be wary.
